Introducing: The Man Cave

Well the time has come for the big reveal of den/man cave I've been working on for the past couple of weeks! Let's start with a little back story before I reveal the eye candy so everyone knows where this room started.

I used to run a small Etsy shop out of my spare room but when I closed the shop a couple of months ago, there wasn't a need for the entire room to be devoted to my office anymore. Since the room wasn't being used, and since I don't have a basement or an attic, slowly but surely things started to pile up and the room ended up looking like a storage unit (and slightly Hoarder-ish, I'll admit).

Since my boyfriend is an avid gamer, and since I started to get sick of seeing all of his gaming stuff in the living room, we decided to convert the spare room from an office into a den/man cave for him! Some things still need to be added to the room (like magazine holders for the empty shelves at the bottom of the entertainment center and a fresh coat of paint) but without further ado, here are the results :)

So what did you think of the transformation? I hope you liked it!

  1. Oh My, HOW PERFECT! I made my Husband a man cave, definitely not as cool as this! I'm inspired! :)

  2. Thank you so much :) Hopefully it'll stay looking this nice for a while!

  3. Okay this is my kind of man cave!!!! I seriously am in love with it! That calendar is so cool and that cowhide is a great touch!
BTW I really want that clock on my mac and haven't figured out how to get it, could you tell me how you got yours?

  4. Thank you! The calendar is a Stendig calendar and the cowhide is a faux one I found on Overstock.com!

Oh and you can download the clock screensaver here (its the first one available): http://www.9031.com/downloads/screensavers.html
