Sheathing - Part 1

Our house's sheathing went up last week and after day 1, it looked like this:

Two can lights were installed in the foyer's 20 foot ceiling. Changing those light bulbs should be fun </sarcasm>:

The sheathing has been completed and the insulation is done which means this week is drywall week! I'll be posting about day 2's sheathing tomorrow and then I'll have a video tour of the insulation for you on Friday!

The electrical work was also added and the house was looking a little crazy:




The outside sheathing is almost done and the drywall is scheduled to go up at the end of next week! I can't wait :)

Hot N Cold

The rest of our plumbing was installed which left the house looking a little something like this:

In order to get the blog caught up to the house's current state, I plan on blogging about the house's electricity tomorrow and the windows on Friday.

On Saturday, I have an appointment to pick out my granite slab (Bianco Antico) and I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that they have two slabs that I like!
