Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was jam-packed with projects I can't wait to share with you!
Today's project involves our dining room. I showed you a sneak peek of the changes last Friday:

I LOVE it! Absolutely love it :)
You saw the frame we built for our crystal print on Friday:
We installed the IKEA Maskros pendant on Friday night along with switching out the Ikat rug:
For the Nate Berkus one that was in our living room:
The pendant casts the coolest shadows on the walls and ceiling at night :)
Dare I say this room is done?! I think so! For this week at least ;)
The room has come a long way since we moved in but I'm 100% happy with it now!
Here's what it looked like back in January:
It's a little more neutral and a lot less "cheerful" than before but I really think that's "me." Well, maybe not me per se but my style of room.
It was hard to pinpoint but something about the previous rug/mirror combo kind of threw me off. As soon as we switched out the mirror for the print, I knew we were onto something and then when Nate was thrown into the mix? I put a fork in the room :)

I love it!! The pendant is slap yo' grandama, awesome! And I ♥ your Nate rug! I say put a fork in it!!
Love, love, love it too, but I think I mentioned several time how much I love the Maskros and I think you can't go wrong with it. I like the dining room better with this combo too.
Ooo, very nice. I really love the framed print! I still love your old rug but I get the whole "love it but not my style" thing. The new rug is VERY pretty!

Thanks Gabbi! The 8 x 10 version of that rug is on clearance for $143 and the 5 x 8 version is on clearance for $45! If you like it, but it now before it's too late!
Love the new rug and lighting fixture! I wish I could pull off the Maskros in our house-- it's just so cool and fun.
Thanks Chelsea! I'm sure you know this already but IKEA sells a smaller version of the Maskros that you might be able to pull off! I think it's only 19" whereas my big guy is 32" :)
I love your dining room. So much! And that rug is such a good deal right now, I want to buy one but I can't imagine a room it works in. Boo. :(
Oh no! There's also has a blue/green version and a black version of the rug. They might work better in a room than the gold!
The before looked like most people's "after," so it'd be hard to go wrong, but that ginormous pendant totally made my heart skip a beat. LOVE it in that room!
