We left Thursday afternoon and arrived around 10 at night. We scored an amazing deal at the Bellagio so we called it home for the weekend!
We admired the Chihuly ceiling while we waited to check-in.
We booked a king resort room but ended up with a double queen room since the hotel had two conferences taking place and we're sold out of king rooms by the time we arrived.
The room was on the 28th floor and had a great view so we couldn't complain too much!
The room had a marble foyer which lead to an amazing bathroom.
I really regret not taking a bath in that deep soaker tub haha
Please note the phone by the toilet. Why do they have phones in the bathrooms?!
The walk-in glass shower was awesome. Another thing to add to our next home's wish list ;)
The foyer opened up into the rest of the room. I loved the lights over the beds and the automatic drapes.
The room overlooked the pools:
We also had a direct view of The Cosmopolitan and two mountain ranges (the one to the left and another to the right). When the Bellagio's fountain shows were happening at night, we could see the reflections in the lower levels of the Cosmopolitan!
Despite driving for 9 hours, we ended up staying out until 4am celebrating the start of my boyfriend's 30th birthday! I wanted to sleep in but we ended up waking up around 10am to get some brunch.
A friend of ours recommended Hash House A Go Go so we made our way over there.
We both got their chicken and waffles which could have fed an army! We ended up taking more than half of it back to the hotel to have for breakfast the next day. #moneysavingtip
We walked around the Northern part of the strip after brunch.
We walked through The Venetian:
And The Palazzo:
We waved to Wynn and Encore:
We passed Treasure Island and admired Trump's hotel in the distance.
We made our way over to The Mirage and looked around for a little bit.
We walked around Caesar's Forum Shoppes for a while before realizing we weren't in the hotel/casion portion of Caesar's Palace haha That hotel is massive by the way!
We slowly but surely made our way back to the Bellagio, sightseeing as we went:
We watched the sun set as we got ready for dinner. It was incredible!
We caught a couple of fountain shows before walking around the rest of the night.
Saturday in the Southern part of the strip and Sunday was spent driving home with a pit stop at the Hoover Dam. The recap of those days will be up on Wednesday and then we'll get back to our regularly scheduled DIY programming next week, I promise :)
