I have to admit that I feel silly even saying that considering it's been 100 degrees the past two days! Let's keep that our little secret and pretend it's nice and chilly outside instead :)
Anyway, I'm so excited that Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Co. invited me back to participate in the fall edition of her Blogger Stylin' Home Tour series.
If you're visiting from Jennifer at Dimples & Tangles, welcome! Wasn't Jennifer's tour great? Her home is so beautiful and I love her use of green throughout!
The only green I have in our fall home tour is in the form of a snake plant in our dining room! Oh and the DIY studded napkin rings I made for East Coast Creative.
I wanted to do a little something different with our tablescape this year so I draped a vintage Mexican blanket across our table and piled dinnerware, napkins, and various fall-like items on top.
The white pumpkins were the only decor items I purchased this year.
I fell in love with their squishy, melting shape and glamourous gold leafed stems!
I added our death branch (full story in the kitchen part of this tour) to our console table along with my favorite gold bear.
Our living room's console table received some simple fall touches. I filled our white shell (HomeGoods find) with some pinecones and placed a leather camel and two of my thrifted candlesticks behind it.
Our bar cart received a mini update:
It's not very fall-like but it'll do. Oh, and look! More green!
Rex will gladly pour you a drink if you'd like ;)
Let's head into our living room!
I added some layered blankets to our the back of our couch along with some faux fur pillows.
I stuck a bunch of birch branches in a clear glass hurricane and placed two more of my thrifted candlesticks in front of it along with the rusted "M" that used to be on our dining room's console table.
I placed a pair of leather wrapped hurricanes on our entertainment center. It's hard to see but I added some coffee beans to the bottom of the hurricanes. The whole house smells amazing when the candles warm them up!
I also added coffee beans and a candle to Nate Berkus' metal wing bowl.
The smell is divine!
Our home has an open floor plan that I love! Here's a great view of how our living room, dining room, and kitchen all connect to one another.
And just like that, our tour has come to an end. I hope you enjoyed our home!
The next stop on this blog hop is Jen from Tatertots and Jello! Head over to her blog and show her tour some love!
Do you decorate for the fall or do you jump straight to decorating for Halloween or Thanksgiving?
